The truth of things revealed you to your flock as a rule of faith, a model of meekness, and a teacher of self-control. Therefore you have won the heights by humility, riches by poverty. Holy Father Nicholas, intercede with Christ our God to save our souls.
Life
Bishop of Myra in Lycia (270–343), renowned for his generosity, care for children, and miraculous intercessions. He attended the First Ecumenical Council at Nicaea in 325.
